By using this service, you agree to the terms of this privacy policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this privacy policy, please stop using the service.
1、 The information we collect
1. Identity information
When you install the service on your device and register on MeetU, we may collect your personal identification information during the service download process (according to your requirements during the download process).
To register through MeetU, you need to provide your phone number or email address, city location, gender, and name, depending on the device you are using on the service. You can also provide personal identification information, but this is optional.
When you log in with your Facebook account, we may collect additional information you provide to us (please refer to "Your User Profile" below).
In addition, when you install services on your device and register on MeetU, the system may ask you to allow us to access your address book. If you agree, we will have the right to access the contact information (name, phone number, email, and Facebook ID) in the address book on the device you use for the service (excluding comments or other personal information in your address book), and we will store it on our servers and use it to assist you in using the service, for example, by synchronizing your MeetU contacts between different devices where you may want to use the service. If you do not want MeetU to store this information, you can choose to exit at any time through the account settings in the MeetU application. However, we may not be able to provide certain functions that require this information.
2. Non personal identity information
MeetU may also collect non personally identifiable information, such as certain personal profile information, including country/region of residence and preferences. In addition, MeetU may collect and store information about your and others' use of the service and our website, as well as interactions with the service and our website, including matches, the number of matches played by members, the duration of matches, text messages, geographic location usage, device and connection information, IP address, device functionality, bandwidth, page view statistics, network type, and traffic entering and exiting our website.
3. User Content
MeetU may also collect user content created by you on the service (such as photos, screenshots, comments, and other materials). Your photos can be taken by other users on MeetU, and if they use the shooting feature provided by MeetU, these photos can be stored and used for MeetU and third-party services such as Facebook. You can change the third-party sharing options in MeetU settings. If you do not agree to all the terms of this privacy policy, please do not use this service.
4. Payment information
To complete a commercial transaction at the MeetU merchandise store, you will be required to provide payment information, including your credit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address. In this case, we will securely transmit your information directly to third-party suppliers or merchants, who will collect such information to process and complete your purchase. MeetU does not process or store your payment information. However, we may store other information about your purchases made on the service, which may include merchant name, transaction date, time and amount, as well as other behavioral information.
5. Error Report
If the service crashes or hangs, we will also collect error report information so that we can investigate the error and improve the stability of future versions of the service. Generally speaking, these reports do not contain or only occasionally contain personally identifiable information. As part of these error reports, we will receive information about the type and version of your device, device identifier, time of error occurrence, features being used, and application status at the time of the error.
2、 The information we share
We will not use this information for any purpose other than investigating and fixing errors. Share your information. We will not rent or sell your information to third parties without your consent, except as otherwise provided in this policy. (or MeetU's affiliated company group)
We may share your information with them:
We may share user content and your information (including but not limited to information from cookies, log files, device identifiers, location data, and usage data) with companies that are legally part of the same company group as MeetU, or become a part of that group ("affiliates"). Affiliated companies can use this information to help provide, understand, and improve services (including through providing analysis) as well as their own services (including providing you with a better and more relevant experience). But these affiliated institutions will respect your choices about who can see your content.
We may also share your information and information from tools such as cookies, log files, device identifiers, and location data with third-party organizations ("service providers") that help us provide services to you. Our service provider will have the right to access your information as it is necessary to provide services in accordance with reasonable confidentiality terms.
We may also share aggregated or anonymous information with third parties, including advertisers and investors. For example, we may inform advertisers of the number of users our application has received. This information does not contain any personal or personally identifiable information, and is used to develop content and services that we hope you are interested in.

You can choose the parties with whom you share your user content:
If you delete information and content created on the service (such as screenshots, etc.), the copy may still be visible in the service's cache and archive pages, or if other users or third parties copy or save the information. (For example, Facebook, etc.)
3、 How do we use the information we collect

-Using the information you allow us to collect from you or the information you provide to social media providers connected to your MeetU account (such as information about your and your MeetU contacts' respective locations) to provide you with the relevant content you request;
-Used for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, service improvement, detection and prevention of errors, fraud or other illegal activities;
When we sincerely believe that laws, any legal procedures, law enforcement, national security, or issues of public importance need to be disclosed;
Protect and defend our rights or property (including enforcing our terms of use and other agreements)
Related to company transactions involving MeetU, such as the purchase or sale of business units, acquisition, merger, sale of assets, or other similar events.
4、 Your user profile
The information you enter in your user profile (your "profile") may be shared with your MeetU contacts. You can control your personal information and access and modify it at any time from the MeetU application. In addition, if you register for MeetU using a Facebook account (such as Facebook Connect), we may store your Facebook ID and corresponding token on our servers. If you explicitly agree, we will have access to and may collect certain information you provide on Facebook (such as your first and last name, email address, profile photo, friend list, and birthday). Other service users connected to you on MeetU can view your profile. In addition, unless you choose to opt out (which you can do at any time in the MeetU application), other MeetU users can discover your profile, including your relationships with other users in the contact list. You can also "block" any MeetU user in your contact list from discovering your profile at any time. In addition, if you or your friends use Facebook login services, MeetU may pre fill certain information in your profile, such as your name and Facebook profile picture.
5、 Data access and deletion
You can always control which information you choose to share with us on the service. For this, you can change the settings on the service or mobile device. Alternatively, you can completely remove the service from your mobile device.
You can delete your data at any time. If you request us to delete your account, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to remove your data from our servers.
1. Any personal identification information that you share with other users in or through the MeetU application in any other way;

Any personal identification information submitted on our website or other blogs, bulletin boards, or chat rooms may be viewed and used by others, including sending you unsolicited messages or engaging in identity theft. MeetU assumes no responsibility for any use or misuse of your information that may arise from your disclosure of information.
6、 Service provider
In some cases, MeetU may enter into contracts with third parties to provide products and/or services related to the service. In these cases, MeetU may share your personal information with MeetU's third-party service providers, but only to provide services to you. For example, MeetU shares your phone number or email with third-party SMS and email providers to send you authentication SMS or email when you register for MeetU. We require these third parties to only use your information to send you text messages or emails according to the contract, and to use appropriate security measures to protect your information. In addition, some MeetU servers are owned and hosted by third-party service providers.

In addition, due to the inherent nature of the Internet and related technologies, we do not guarantee that the information under our control will not be lost, misused or changed.
2. Data transmission
Your information may be stored and processed in any country/region where MeetU has facilities. In this regard, or for the purpose of sharing or disclosing data as described in this privacy policy, MeetU reserves the right to transfer information outside of your country/region.
By using this service, you agree to transfer any such information outside of your country/region.
3. Age
This service is not intended for children under the age of eighteen (18), and we will not knowingly collect personal identification information from children under the age of eighteen as part of the service. If we discover that as part of our service, we have unintentionally received personal identification information from users under the age of eighteen, we will remove such information from our records. If we change our approach in the future, as part of our service, we will obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18.

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy at our own discretion. You can view updates to our privacy policy at any time through the link on our website. You agree to accept electronic communication and/or publication of the revised privacy policy on the MeetU website, and you agree that such electronic communication or publication constitutes a privacy policy notice sent to you.
