User Service Privacy Policy Welcome to MeetU. This policy will be updated in January 2025. In this privacy policy, we refer to our products and services as "services". If you do not agree to the terms of this privacy policy, please stop using the service. 1、 The information we collect 1. Identity information When you install the service on your device and register on MeetU, we may collect your personal identification information during the service download process (according to your requirements during the download process). To register through MeetU, you need to provide your phone number or email address, city location, gender, and name, depending on the device you are using on the service. You can also provide personal identification information, but this is optional. When you log in with your Facebook account, we may collect additional information you provide to us (please refer to "Your User Profile" below). In addition, when you install services on your device and register on MeetU, the system may ask you to allow us to access your address book. If you agree, we will have the right to access the contact information (name, phone number, email, and Facebook ID) in the address book on the device you use for the service (excluding comments or other personal information in your address book), and we will store it on our servers and use it to assist you in using the service, for example, by synchronizing your MeetU contacts between different devices where you may want to use the service. If you do not want MeetU to store this information, you can choose to exit at any time through the account settings in the MeetU application. However, we may not be able to provide certain functions that require this information. 2. Non personal identity information MeetU may also collect non personally identifiable information, such as certain personal profile information, including country/region of residence and preferences. In addition, MeetU may collect and store information about your and others' use of the service and our website, as well as interactions with the service and our website, including matches, the number of matches played by members, the duration of matches, text messages, geographic location usage, device and connection information, IP address, device functionality, bandwidth, page view statistics, network type, and traffic entering and exiting our website. 3. User Content MeetU may also collect user content created by you on the service (such as photos, screenshots, comments, and other materials). Your photos can be taken by other users on MeetU, and if they use the shooting feature provided by MeetU, these photos can be stored and used for MeetU and third-party services such as Facebook. You can change the third-party sharing options in MeetU settings. If you do not agree to all the terms of this privacy policy, please do not use this service. 4. Payment information To complete a commercial transaction at the MeetU merchandise store, you will be required to provide payment information, including your credit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address. In this case, we will securely transmit your information directly to third-party suppliers or merchants, who will collect such information to process and complete your purchase. MeetU does not process or store your payment information. However, we may store other information about your purchases made on the service, which may include merchant name, transaction date, time and amount, as well as other behavioral information. 5. Error Report If the service crashes or hangs, we will also collect error report information so that we can investigate the error and improve the stability of future versions of the service. Generally speaking, these reports do not contain or only occasionally contain personally identifiable information. You can control your personal information and access and modify it at any time from the MeetU application. In addition, if you register for MeetU using a Facebook account (such as Facebook Connect), we may store your Facebook ID and corresponding token on our servers. If you explicitly agree, we will have access to and may collect certain information you provide on Facebook (such as your first and last name, email address, profile photo, friend list, and birthday). Other service users connected to you on MeetU can view your profile. In addition, unless you choose to opt out (which you can do at any time in the MeetU application), other MeetU users can discover your profile, including your relationships with other users in the contact list. You can also "block" any MeetU user in your contact list from discovering your profile at any time. For example, MeetU shares your phone number or email with third-party SMS and email providers to send you authentication SMS or email when you register for MeetU.
